Description

Delicious and savory meatballs cooked in a rich French onion sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  2. Place sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Arrange meatballs on top of the onions.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix beef broth and French onion soup mix, then pour over the meatballs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until meatballs are cooked through.

Notes

  • Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
