Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
- Boil the Brussels sprouts in salted water for about 10 minutes until tender.
- Drain and let them cool slightly.
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and gently smash each one with the bottom of a glass.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
