- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with cornstarch until well coated.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the shrimp and set aside. In the same skillet, add green beans and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp back to the skillet along with the sauce and toss to combine.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double fry the shrimp.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
