Description

Crispy Sesame Shrimp with Green Beans is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the crunch of shrimp with the freshness of green beans, all coated in a savory sesame sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with cornstarch until well coated.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the shrimp and set aside. In the same skillet, add green beans and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add the shrimp back to the skillet along with the sauce and toss to combine.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double fry the shrimp.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
