- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 4 slices of your favorite bread
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- Extra Parmesan for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the sandwich by toasting the bread slices.
- Once the chicken is done, slice it and layer it on the toasted bread with romaine lettuce and Caesar dressing.
- Top with extra Parmesan cheese and close the sandwich.
