- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 package (16 oz) gnocchi
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning.
- Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float to the top.
- Fold in the chopped spinach and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or mushrooms.
