- 12 oz tortellini
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the diced chicken. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional parmesan if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
