- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- While the potatoes are boiling, melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat and add the minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the garlic butter mixture and heavy cream to the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
