Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
