Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups whole grain flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole grain flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, orange juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
