Description

Delicious and chewy chocolate chip oatmeal bars that are perfect for a snack or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
