Description

Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies are a delicious dessert that combines the rich flavors of brownies with the classic taste of chocolate chip cookies, creating a decadent treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie layer.
  9. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
