Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
