A delicious and spicy chipotle chicken burger that packs a flavor punch, perfect for grilling season.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tbsp chipotle sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chipotle sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into 4 patties.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more chipotle sauce to the mixture.
- These burgers can also be cooked in a skillet if a grill is not available.
- Serve with a side of sweet potato fries for a complete meal.
