Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
