Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add the chicken broth, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir back into the sauce.
  6. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt before serving.
