Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sweet corn kernels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sweet corn, flour, cheese, milk, egg, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and a thick batter forms.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
