Description

Delicious Halloween-themed cupcakes filled with creamy cheesecake, perfect for a festive treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  4. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with chocolate cake batter.
  5. Add a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture on top of the batter.
  6. Top with more chocolate cake batter until the liners are about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool and decorate with Halloween-themed sprinkles.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the cake batter.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • These cupcakes can be made a day in advance for convenience.
