Description

Delicious cheeseburger pretzel bombs filled with gooey cheese and seasoned beef, perfect for a snack or party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated pretzel dough
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper to the beef and mix well.
  4. Roll out the pretzel dough and cut it into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a small amount of cheese in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  7. Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add diced onions or pickles to the beef mixture.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
  • Serve with additional mustard and ketchup for dipping.
