A delicious twist on traditional Brussels sprouts, enhanced with a sweet and tangy orange maple glaze.

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and caramelized.
- While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, whisk together the maple syrup, orange juice, and orange zest in a small bowl.
- Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle the orange maple glaze over them.
- Toss to combine and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped pecans or walnuts before serving.
- This dish pairs well with roasted meats or as a side for a vegetarian meal.
