- 1 lemon
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1 packet pectin
Instructions
- Wash the grapefruits and lemon thoroughly.
- Peel the grapefruits and lemon, removing the white pith.
- Chop the fruit into small pieces and set aside.
- In a large pot, combine the chopped fruit, water, and pectin.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Add the sugar gradually, stirring constantly until dissolved.
- Continue to boil for 10-15 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
- Pour the hot marmalade into sterilized jars and seal immediately.
