Delicious meatball subs made with bourbon BBQ sauce, bacon, and cheeseburgers, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bourbon BBQ sauce
- 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 6 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cooked meatballs with bourbon BBQ sauce and chopped bacon.
- Slice the sub rolls and place them on a serving platter.
- Fill each sub roll with the meatball mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of BBQ sauce to your taste.
- These subs can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
- For a spicier kick, add some hot sauce to the meatball mixture.
