Description

Boston Market Sweet Potato Casserole is a delicious and comforting dish made with sweet potatoes, topped with a crunchy pecan streusel.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil sweet potatoes in a large pot until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl.
  4. Add brown sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mashed sweet potatoes and mix well.
  5. Transfer the sweet potato mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine chopped pecans, flour, sugar, and softened butter to create the streusel topping.
  7. Sprinkle the pecan streusel over the sweet potato mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
