A refreshing and zesty shrimp cocktail infused with the classic flavors of a Bloody Mary.
Ingredients

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 2 tablespoons horseradish
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the shrimp.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the pot and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
- In a mixing bowl, combine tomato juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Once the shrimp are chilled, drain and pat them dry.
- Toss the shrimp in the Bloody Mary mixture until well coated.
- Serve chilled, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more hot sauce to the mixture.
- This dish can be prepared a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Pair with celery sticks or lemon wedges for added flavor.
