Description
A quick and delicious beef and broccoli stir-fry that is perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan, mix well, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
