Description

Banana Mocha Chip Muffins are a delightful combination of ripe bananas, rich cocoa, and chocolate chips, perfect for a morning treat or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and sugar, then mix in the melted butter.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
