Description

Baked French Toast Muffins are a delightful and easy breakfast option that combines the flavors of traditional French toast in a convenient muffin form.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the cubed bread to the egg mixture and gently fold until the bread is well coated.
  4. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the liquid.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the top of each muffin.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
