Baja Fish Tacos with Avocado Crema are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines crispy fish with a creamy avocado sauce, perfect for a quick meal or a gathering.

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime (juiced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  4. Dip fish fillets in the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
