Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm water and yogurt, then knead until a soft dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  5. Roll out each ball into an oval shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Brush one side with melted butter and sprinkle minced garlic on top.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and place the naan garlic side down.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  9. Remove from skillet and brush with more melted butter, garnish with cilantro.
