- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes with melted butter.
- Spread the cornflake mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like peas or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
