Description

Delicious cake balls decorated with festive colors, perfect for celebrating the 4th of July.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 can of frosting
  • 1 bag of white chocolate chips
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the cake mix by combining the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil in a bowl.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake as directed.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
  5. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
  6. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  8. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  9. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and place them back on the baking sheet.
  10. Sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  11. Let the cake balls cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use cream cheese frosting instead of regular frosting.
